What are refurbished products?

Refurbished product are those products that are used and then renewed by manufacturer or refurbishing expert.These product are returned to manufacturer because of some technical problem or issues . Then experts analyse problem of product and then repair that problem or issue. see the below diagram you will understand:

What is a difference between used product and refurbished products?

The main difference between "used "and "refurbished" product is that refurbished products have been tested and certified by manufacturer and comes with warranty whereas used product are not verified or comes with warranty .It can anytime end their life anytime. sometimes, this also happen that their product has no problem then  also the the buyer return it (7-10)days  because if some reason and sell that product in low price.

Advantages of refurbished products:

1. COST SAVING;

 The main benefit of refurbished products are that they are much cheaper than the new product ad sometimes they are sell on up to 50% discount.This five it's consumer a great deal

2. CERTIFIED TESTING:

All refurbished product  have certified testing which is either  done by  refurbishing experts or manufacturers. The faulty parts are repaired and tested the performance of the  product and then they are selled into the marketTherefore, when buying refurbished gadgets, there are chances that you receive a properly working and best-conditioned device.

3. RELIABLE:

The manufacturer who resale these products.Check all the defects and issues before selling their product If you are buying refurbished electronics from an authorised refurbisher or directly from the manufacturer, you can be assured that these products are reliable.

4. ECO FRIENDLY:

Buying refurbished products instead of dumping them in land- fills destroy land of that particular area. By buying these  you also give second life to this product. This will help or environment safe and free of pollution. This will leave a positive impact in your life

5.Availability of older models –

Many people prefer older models instead of the new and upgraded versions. The reason is the older versions fulfill their requirements more effectively than the new ones. But the reality is months or few years after a new version of a laptop, desktop or smartphone is launched in the market, the manufacturers often discontinue the older versions or limit the supply. So if you would like to buy an old version of a model you can get it from the line of refurbished 

Disadvantages of refurbished product:

1. Short-term warranty –

Refurbished product do not come with long term warranty period as new product come. Thus, manufaturer sell their product in  short period of warranty. This is a greatest disadvantage of refurbished products.Most of the manufaturers offer 60 days to 6 months warranty.

2. Unknown lifespan –

When we buy a new smartphone we knew that it will last at least 2 years. But the case is not same with refurbished products. The manufacture of the product do not assure the life span of these devices. These product will always keep you in doubt that till how much time these product will last long Some may last till (3-4 )years and some may breakdown in (3-4) months.

3. Uncertainty about the integral parts and accessories –

    New electronic devices give us a satisfaction that all its parts and accessories are brand new and original. But in case of refurbished electronics, it is impossible to know about the authenticity of the product. Since the refurbished electronics are repaired and resold, it might be possible that the manufacturer has replaced the original accessory with the duplicate counterpart for better performance. So you cannot check all the parts of a refurbished device and hence you cannot be sure about the quality of refurbished electronics.
